January 13: News and Changes for Stone City

Hello friends and tribe,
We hope this finds you well and healthy in the new year. We are emerging from
winter down-time and getting ready for the coming season's events, with new plans
and ideas. Here are a few things to look for: New mailing list format - Starting today, we'll be using a new email list service instead of simple text emails. You may want to check your spam settings to make sure that the new emails are not getting caught in your spam filters. New schedule and events for 2012 - We'll be announcing our upcoming events for this year shortly. There will be changes to how we schedule work parties, new regular dates for Morrigan devotional practice and working on the shrine, and other new happenings, in addition to our core seasonal gatherings as always. New this year: Stone City Membership. We will be inviting community members to become Members of Stone City community by purchasing a subscription. There will be different membership levels available, with a range of benefits such as free admission to our events, free retreat nights at the sanctuary, and other exclusive benefits to thank our members. You'll receive a separate notice detailing that shortly. Staff Positions - We're looking to expand our organization in order to share the workload, and to engage more creative minds in the workings of Stone City. We'll be looking for several dedicated people to serve on ritual planning teams, coordinating food for events, webmaster and marketing help, event/logistical support, and carpool coordination. More details to come on that soon.
