Stone City at PantheaCon 2012

Stone City will be located in the same hosting room we held last year, on the 2nd floor, easy to reach across the rooftop walkway from the large event rooms on the mezzanine. (No waiting around for elevators!) We'll have open hours when you are welcome to drop by and see us, old friends and newcomers alike. There will be refreshments to share and information on our projects for the coming year, and you can pick up a badge ribbon or bumper sticker to show your support. In addition to open hours in the hospitality room, Stone City folks will be involved in several program offerings that you won't want to miss.

Here are our hospitality and program offerings for this year:

Stone City Gypsy Cafe
Saturday 11 am-4 pm
Sunday noon - 5 pm
We'll be offering Turkish coffee, spiced Indian chai and treats. Come sit back on a cushion, listen to exotic rhythms, sip something warm and aromatic and relax out of the madness of the con. Musicians and dancers are encouraged to come with your bells and drums for spontaneous belly dance jam sessions as the spirit moves us.

Raven Kin Meetup
Sunday 10 am - noon
Meeting time for members of the Raven Kin network and interested friends and kin, with Morrigan devotional offerings at 11 am. If you have heard Her call to action for our changing world, please join us.

Bast: The Great Cat Goddess
with Avia Moore and Priestesses of Stone City
Saturday 11 am
In this devotional ritual led by Avia with support from us, we will use rhythm and trance to enter the realm of the Gods through the gateway of the senses. We will invoke the Lady of Pleasure, Bast, and offer Her our devotion, joy and passion. We will invite Her to join us in play and ecstatic communion and ask Her blessing on our lives. This ritual is appropriate for both newcomers who would like to establish a connection with Bast as well as those who wish to deepen their relationship with Her.

Exorcism: A Rite of De-Possession and Re-Integration
with Anaar, Morpheus, Sharon, Thorn, and Winter
Saturday 7 pm
We are often possessed, and don't realize it. As individuals and collectively we can clear our bodies and souls of the influences that keep us from our full beauty and power. This ritual is based on ancient rites of cleansing, exorcism, and the re-integration with our own personal daimon or God spirit. Specific rhythms and movements have been crafted to free us from the chains that bind us, calling upon our own divinity to walk with us through the gates of change. Come liberate your soul!
