A view of the Henge from the North entrance
Our most unique feature is probably the Henge: a circle of standing stones with alignments to holy days of the Pagan year.
The Henge is built on a hilltop with a wide vista of the surrounding hill horizons, in an oval shape that follows the natural contour of the hill. It is roughly 60 feet long by 40 feet wide, with a large fire pit and altar stone inside. The standing stones making up the ring vary from about 3 to 8 feet high, and they include alignments for true north; Yule, Ostara, and Beltaine sunrises; and Litha, Lughnassadh, and Samhain sunsets. The Samhain sunset alignment is formed by a large dolmen (a trilithon made up of two standing stones with a capstone) which makes up the Samhain gate into which the sun sets. We began taking alignments for the stones in 2002 and completed the last stone raising at Samhain of 2005.

The May Tree is our living Maypole and icon of the God in nature. Instead of the cut pole which has come to be traditional for NeoPagans, we have sanctified a live young tree which will serves as the Maypole for our yearly Beltaine festivities and is at the center of a newly created ritual circle. This is based on ancient tradition of worshiping sacred trees, and it has allowed us to quit cutting trees for our Beltaine rituals, as well as bringing us more in contact with living Nature and serving as a vibrant living icon of the the God.
Nearby the May Tree is our Horned God shrine, a natural stone altar with a gnarled blue oak tree. It is located in a lovely secluded green area shaded by a large, venerable pine with curving branches that resemble long arms which we call the "Whomping Pine" as a humorous aside to Harry Potter. Further plans for the Horned God shrine include a long pole which will be decorated with horns and antlers, to be erected overlooking the site.
